From the album “Osafune”, I extracted and remixed only the field recording of “Osafune 03”. Osafune 03 is an ambient piece where I recorded a few hours playing acoustic guitar on the bank of a river, extracted some of the sound source, and layered a drone with guitar performance and vocals. This remix of “Osafune 03”, “Osafune 03 02”, is a looped drone music with deep reverb, extracted from the original environmental recording. The contrast between the hard metallic sound of a Japanese bullet train running and the softer sounds of nature and acoustic guitar is impressive.
